About the PSO Unit
The Private Security Organisations Unit maintains the national PSO register, vets security personnel, monitors compliance and enforces the law. The operating licence itself is issued by the Ministry of the Interior.
How vetting works
A company first enters its details in the Unit’s records, then files the staff it employs so each person can be vetted. Companies already on file file their new hires and roster updates themselves; every person submitted this way stays Pending until an officer checks their identity documents.
